Ash is a privacy and data protection lawyer with deep expertise in emerging technologies, including blockchain, artificial intelligence, digital identities and Web3. She advises on UK and US privacy law, with a practice that spans corporate transactions, commercial contracts, employment matters, joint ventures and outsourcing, always with a focus on how data is used, shared and protected.
She previously acted as Global Head of Legal for a multinational financial services organisation and has spent years in private practice in London’s financial services law firms. That combination of in-house leadership and technical legal expertise gives her an unusually practical understanding of how privacy and data obligations operate at the commercial and operational level.
Ash is a recognised authority in her field. She has been appointed to the EU Commission’s Panel of Experts for Blockchain (EUBOF), serves as Co-Chair of INATBA’s Privacy Working Group and is a member of the Editorial Board of Citywealth’s Crypto Report. She is also a published author, with works covering GDPR for US organisations and emerging trends in blockchain and crypto.

Acting as external DPO for technology and financial services businesses. Serving as GC for a data-hosting crypto start-up leveraging a Layer 0 protocol and SMPC encryption. Conducting gap analyses between HIPAA and GDPR and leading GDPR and US privacy law audits and remediation programmes, including for DAOs. Advising on the launch of supply chain platforms using zero-knowledge proofs and digital identities. Supporting the Cyber Helpline.
Outside the office, Ash enjoys painting, water sports and travelling.
