ABOUT

Introduction

Kenneth is an experienced corporate lawyer with over 40 years’ advising companies across many sectors through transactions of all kinds, from routine to transformational. Over the course of his career he has developed an extensive international network to support clients’ growth plans, and has significant management experience at senior leadership level within large law firms.

He began his career at Maclay Murray & Spens before moving to McKenna & Co (now CMS) and returning to Maclay Murray & Spens as a Corporate Partner. Following several years as Head of Corporate, he became Chief Executive of the firm and led it into its merger with Dentons, the world’s largest law firm. On completion of the merger he became Dentons’ Senior Partner, Scotland and served on the firm’s board and executive leadership team.

He has worked with start-ups, listed companies, private entrepreneurs and PE-backed businesses, and brings a thorough understanding of the needs and approaches of businesses at every stage of growth. His practice regularly involves managing and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and interfacing with clients and other advisers across multiple jurisdictions.
