ABOUT

Introduction

Nick is a former General Counsel and senior commercial and corporate lawyer specialising in the energy sector. He advises on all aspects of large-scale energy and infrastructure projects in the UK and internationally, covering the full lifecycle from acquisition and development through construction, operation and exit.

Nick trained and worked at Dentons before becoming General Counsel of Sindicatum Sustainable Resources, a US$400m renewable energy fund developing projects across South East Asia. He subsequently ran his own legal services firm for a decade, advising energy clients including Smart DCC, Warrego Energy and Atlas Copco as their in-house counsel.

His practice covers oil and gas, renewables and the intersection of energy and technology, including the UK’s smart metering roll-out and the divergence of energy, IT and digital infrastructure.
