ABOUT

Introduction

Paul is a senior commercial technology, media and telecommunications lawyer with over 20 years’ experience, and an in-house track record that few lawyers in his field can match. He has held senior legal leadership and board positions at Liberty Global, Virgin Media, Vodafone, Nscale and Egg, giving him a first-hand understanding of the commercial pressures, deal dynamics and operational realities that his clients face every day.

Paul began his career in private practice at Herbert Smith and Wiggin before moving into the in-house roles that define his profile. He advises clients on complex, high-value and multi-jurisdictional transactions across technology, media, telecoms and digital infrastructure, covering digital services, cloud, AI, data centres, outsourcing, procurement and supply chain, mobile and fixed network wholesale services, EV and renewable energy, Go-To-Market strategy, consumer matters, product development and intellectual property.

For clients in TMT sectors, working with Paul means working with someone who has been on their side of the table at the highest level. He knows how these businesses are run, what matters commercially and how to get deals done without unnecessary friction.
